KTSW 89.9 FM is pleased to announce that we will be airing the Southeastern Louisiana baseball series live from Hammond, Louisiana! Both teams are currently atop the SLC standings with 7-2 records, and SLU is coming off of a recent ranking of #22 in the nation. Texas State is currently ranked 38th in RPI according to www.boydsworld.com, and SLU is ranked 39th. This could easily be a series that determines the winner of the 2010 Southland Conference regular season championship. Texas State swept the Lions last year in San Marcos.
The first game on Friday, April 16th will start at 6:00 PM and will have pregame coverage starting at 5:45 PM, the second game on Saturday April 17th will begin at 2:00 PM and will have pregame coverage starting at 1:45 PM, and the third game on Sunday, April 18th will begin at 1:00 PM and will have pregame coverage starting at 12:45 PM.
All three games will be available on 89.9 FM KTSW, www.ktsw.net, and www.txstatebobcats.com. We are also currently exploring the possibility of airing the McNeese series in Lake Charles in May, stay tuned to the KTSW Sports Blog for more programming updates.
